What is Euromillions?
Is a lottery game played on Tuesdays and Fridays and organized between some countries of Europe, initially Frace, United Kingdom and Spain, but some others have joined: Portugal, Irland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Austria.

As many people plays the jackpot and the prizes can become huge, a minimum of 15 million euros every week and were there are no first category winners, the jackpot gets bigger for next week. Jackpots can reach 185 million euros or even more.

What are the rules of the game?
It is based in guessing 5 numbers of a table with 50 (from 1 to 50) and also 2 numbers (stars) of a table (from 1 to 11). So to get the first prize you must match 7 numbers (5 + 2) .

How is the draw?
Every tuesday and friday of the week, one draw to get the winning numbers for all the countries. The draw takes part in Paris. The scrutiny is made in a unique center for the bets of all the countries. .

How it is played?
In all the countries, despite the tickets design in slightly different, the block is made up of two tables, one for the 50 numbers and other for the 11 stars.

In Spain, the ticket has 5 blocks and each block has a table of "numbers" on the top and other table of "stars" on the bottom.

Which are the prizes?
For prizes is used the 50% of the collect.

There are 13 categories of different prizes.

The reservation fund is used to guarantee the minimum jackpot of 15 million euros.

If in a draw there are no winners of first category, the money goes to the reservation fund, that is domain of the Lottery Operators committee.

If there were no winner in some other category differt than the maximum, the money of the prize would go to the inferior category for this draw. But, if there were no winners in the lower category (2+0) of prizes, the money for this category would be used for the maximum category of the next draw.

With the amount of the sales used for prizes of all the countries, it is made a unique fund that will be dstributed between all the countries winners. All the prizes of each of the 13 categories will be the same on every country (values always in euros).

Prizes caducity is 3 months from the draws day (in elGordo.com prizes are paid in the user account next day after the draw).
